I know larger families have kids at different academic levels. How many grades/levels are you teaching at one time?

This is very helpful, Merry and Heather. Thank you! I always have such high hopes at the beginning of each school year, but then real life sets in and some days we just can't get it all in. With the two levels and the PAF + AAC, I was feeling like I might be biting off a little too much. Your words of wisdom are very helpful!

I do think it makes sense to prioritize PAF, if only because it's the O-G program he's been using for so long. But it seems wise to accompany it with AAC. (For my non-dyslexic, I was thinking about doing just AAC, plus oral reading and maybe Explode the Code -- no PAF.)

Thanks a ton! :)

I teach 2 grades/levels. We use one set of tiles and keep those tiles used by older one a space below the tiles they both use.

I would like your suggestion to my daughter Suzanna Christy who is studying First standard in an English Medium School. She needs some motivation to read lessons on her own. What are the methods? Kindly suggest some methods. Thank you. MBJ Pancras
