I put this is the wrong spot so I'm moving it here.
My ds and I were working on au/aw spellings today and reviewed that english words don't end in u. He said, "What about you?" That is one of the words he's known how to spell for a long time so I don't remember if we've encountered it yet in AAS. He knows there are exceptions but I hadn't thought of it. So now I'm wondering...
Yes! We JUST finished Step 18 in Level 2 and YOU is discussed as being a Rule Breaker. It's one of the 10 spelling words for Step 18 and it says in the Step to circle the "u" and the end of YOU since words don't end in "u" ....then we put it in jail!

Thank-you, I figured it was probably covered and since my ds, who normally shows no interest what so ever, noticed I thought I better clarify:) I just mailed my level 2 stuff to someone about an hour before he asked me...lol
I would like your suggestion to my daughter Suzanna Christy who is studying First standard in an English Medium School. She needs some motivation to read lessons on her own. What are the methods? Kindly suggest some methods. Thank you.
