Marie, I magnetised them both (actually, I have 2 sets and did all 4 of them!) - sometimes we have to divide up several words and I find it quicker to put a few words on the board at once.

pogo! (as in, pogo stick! I don't think that was in the book though...) :-)

Some words might have 2 closed syllables. The only example that comes to mind are compound words like clamshell. 2 syllables - both closed. I can't think of any with 2 open syllables but I bet there are some.

Joining in… We are starting Level 2 in the next week or two. :o)
I have it all organized. I noticed that there are two open door and two closed door tags. I haven't read through the manual, but wondered if anyone could give me a quick answer as to why there are two of each. I put magnets on the back of all of them.

Sandra,

I haven't been making extra lists. I always aspire to and it never happens because...well there is just so much else to do. :D

Hi Sandra, what age child are you working with? What are you hoping to accomplish with extra spelling lists? You might want to start a discussion up above, I think sometimes the comments get lost & don't get as much traffic as the discussions. Hope we can help!

Just curious to know how how some of you were creating spelling lists for your children to reinforce the rules/lessons in AAS. I could use some help in this area.
