I was wondering how much reading is done in the Beehive reader with the AAS 1? Is it daily or weekly? Of course, I understand you can go at the pace you need. I was just wondering what was recommended or scheduled. I do not own a copy, yet. I am planning on buying it here real soon. I have been asked by a couple of friends who are interested in the program.
I think you probably use it as you see fit. Marie has posted a schedule of when to read each story. I think the way I'll use it is this: after a step is completed and if there is a story for them to read for that step, we'll work on it at the student's pace of course. So it might take a day or 3 or 4 days to get through a story. BUT it'll be great practice using our new spelling knowledge! And we won't replace our other readers with this, but will use this more of a supplement and extra reading practice.
Thank you, I did see the schedule when to read each story. I just wasn't sure how long each story was and if it was more of a supplement to reading. I agree about the great practice after learning the new spelling words.

I would like your suggestion to my daughter Suzanna Christy who is studying First standard in an English Medium School. She needs some motivation to read lessons on her own. What are the methods? Kindly suggest some methods. Thank you.
