I'm looking for a magnet board.  I've spent the afternoon looking online, but whew! some of them are really expensive!  Any suggestions who might have magnet boards that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Target, but I use one that is smaller than recommended. It is crowded (you can fit a-z across the top, we had to wrap it to the next line), but it is working.

Hmm...I looked on their website, but didn't find anything I thought would work. I'll look again.

In the past I have seen a lot of people post that they get them from Walmart. I just live in the city and the closest one is an hour drive one way.

I'll check locally. They didn't show anything online that I thought was affordable or useful. Odd things like magnetic headboards????

I planned on going there today, but had a kink thrown in my day. Bug broke out in hives. Not sure what caused that, but I doubt we are headed out now.

I was at the one by me yesterday and they had one with a nice wood frame, for $16. It was 24"x35"

Exactly what I want. Inexpensive, yet nice! I look there. Thanks.

We got ours at Walmart for around $15 or $16. It was made by "the Board Dudes" & is 2' X 3'. Sometimes I find things at the stores that the bigger companies don't have on their websites, not sure why.

Just got back from Wally-World, and they had one for $14.96. So, I'll get dh's approval of a spot before buying it, but I think it should work! Thanks everyone for your input!

Have you considered magnetic paint? Then you just need a smooth piece of material... something like the coroplast can work for it, or a large picture frame with an strong insert. There are lots of creative options. If you have a school room, you could even tape off a section of the wall and paint that! Or in a main room if you will be painting it, simply put the magnetic paint under your color.

I would like your suggestion to my daughter Suzanna Christy who is studying First standard in an English Medium School. She needs some motivation to read lessons on her own. What are the methods? Kindly suggest some methods. Thank you. MBJ Pancras
