I would like your suggestion to my daughter Suzanna Christy who is studying First standard in an English Medium School. She needs some motivation to read lessons on her own. What are the methods? Kindly suggest some methods. Thank you.

Well, we started back to school yesterday. We are not quite "year-round schoolers," but I find it's easier on us to start early and be able to take off time throughout the year when we need it. Plus I find that with a shorter summer break (6 weeks instead of 10 or more), the kids don't forget as much. This will be our 9th year homeschooling. (Wow! Hard to believe!)
I like to start back with just a few subjects and ease into things--so far we are doing:

I have two questions. We are in Level 2 Step 19.
My son keeps saying that the words that begin with ce (center) are rule breakers. I have looked back over the last couple lessons but I don't know what he means. He keeps telling me that ce isn't supposed to go at the beginning of a word. Before I correct him I want to be sure I didn't miss something in the lessons.
Second, my son has had a hard time with words like crate, bride, price. He wants to add an E in. Cerate, Beride, Per
